Latest comments from our visitors about the Puerto Vallarta area and locations listed on the siteComment on Anthropology
The men at this bar are by far the hottest I have seen at a strip joint... They will do just about anything for 20-30 pesos. From previous comments I see that the main complaints are pickpockets. My response, DONT TAKE YOUR WALLET. I always ONLY carry cash in a pocket with a zipper or a button. It just common sense... I will say that they are VERY pushy for cash. We learned to just say "maybe later" and they leave politely. Just so you know, the "private show" will go as far as you want so don't get too drunk. My partner and I went twice on our last trip and had a great time. Comment on Casa Tres Vida

The Wednesday night spaghetti is amazing and CHEAP at $60. Comment on La Noche
i visited your bar with 6 of my guy friends and we had a blast! Comment on Fajita Republic
This place is the best in PV. During a 1 week stay had dinner there twice. Owner is so welcoming, in fact we walked by another night and he recognized us. Food is terrific, Service is great and Margaritas are caliente! Comment on Margarita Grill
Best salsa we had, made fresh at your table with fire roasted tomatoes - Yum!! So far, the best meal we've had in PV! Try the Carne Saida Burrito. Comment on Café Roma Pizzeria & Bar
Absolutely awesome pizza! Great atmosphere, and great food. The owner, origianlly from Manitoba, Canada, does lots of charity work, so its even better when you can support someone who does a lot of good! Comment on Joe Jack's Fish Shack
The BEST Fish and Chips you will ever have! Better than any I have had in London. The whole red snapper is AMAZING, so flavorful and fresh nothing in PV compares to it. Great cocktails! Also, I don't know how they do it but they have the most incredible friendly staff year after year. A real pleasure to spend a night with friends. Comment on Banana Cantina
Amazing food, great service, an owner who takes the time to meet everyone of her guests and truly cares that your experience, not only at Banana Cantina, but in PV is fantastic! The Pork with Achiote Sauce, Fantastic. The Mole Sauce by far one of the best I have ever tasted. The Tequila Shrimp with Julienne vegetables cooked perfectly and tastes amazing. On top of it all they serve some of the best cocktails in Puerto Vallarta. Debbie we love ya! Thanks for an amazing adventure! Comment on Blue Seas Old Town a Gay Resort
For all of those heading to Puerto Vallarta. DO NOT stay at The Blue Seas "Resort and Spa". We purchased a week last year and were excited to be stayong for the first time in our beautiful room over looking the water. When we arrived they put us in a room facing the street, broken floor tiles and ripped towels. We ...spent 6 days trying to speak with someone from their member services department (it doesn't exist) or a sales person (they have not been on sight for 3 months) but no one has returned a call, offered compensation or even attempted to mamke us whole. It has been a terrible and expensive experience. Comment on Café Bohemio
Phone numbers are included on all listings where i know them. If anyone has this or any other phone number to add to a listing, please email it to info@puertovallartasatellite.com. Comment on Café Bohemio
It would greatly help if phone numbers were included Comment on Anthropology
This is common is pv Mexico. One should give your wallet to friends first before getting a dance or going in the back room. This happens alot at villa cora, and at manana. Manana also they will out right lie to get you to come in (BEWARE) !! Comment on Frida's Bar
wonderful bar with wonderful people from all over the world tom i hope you get better will see you next february for your birthday hope john king will be there also good food and drinks johnnyo Comment on Anthropology
Do not go here, the dancers are thieves. Went here our second night of vacation and our friend had his wallet taken from his pocket by one of the dancers. He did have a few personal dances but never left the main bar. Myself and partner took care of the bar tab, but by morning our friend had numerous charges from local convenience stores and pharmacies. It's not like in the US where you tip the guys if you want to...these guys are very aggressive, and flat out ask you to pay for their services much like the vendors on the beach. BEWARE, it's not worth it. In hind site the dancers motives were very calculated, and everyone we have talked to had confirmed. This place has a very bad reputation. Comment on Puerto Vallarta Gay and Lesbian Places
My favorite time to be in Vallarta for the gay scene is during Mexican holiday times like Christmas/New Years or Easter Week. The place is so fun and packed with not only Gringos but lots of guys from Mexico City and Guadalajara. Comment on Frida's Bar
The best little place around Dave will take good care of you with his culinary devine goodies. Its fun and laid back but yey don't take my word for it go a try it for yourself and write your own message. Truely a pleasure Comment on Café Bohemio
Cafe Bohemia is a GREAT place for food and sidewalk entertainmant. I would like to have the email (or mail) address in order to send Sol and Chris pictures taken at Cafe Bohemia during the week of 13 APR 09. Comment on Cafe de Olla
The Tortilla Soup is amazing!! Yum. Comment on Puerto Vallarta Restaurants and Bars
So many places to eat! Everyone seems to follow the crowds, with some places packed and many other places empty. I wanted to try new places but everytime I did, I always wanted to go back to the favorites -- there's a reason they're busy! Cafe San Angel was my favorite for breakfast or afternoon coffee, a great people watching spot. Cafe de Olla has the best Mexican food and a great atmosphere. The city could use some more creative vegetarian options -- ideas anyone? Comment on Puerto Vallarta WiFi Hotspots
Lot's of places have free WiFi but finding WiFi that is also fast and reliable is a bonus! I've been really impressed with the WiFi at Dee's Coffee Shop and at my hotel Posada Roger. Other places I've tried have been middling or slow. Comment on Posada Roger
Been staying at Posada Roger this week after a friend recommended it and I'm liking it. The pool is small but nice, people are friendly enough, the room is furnished nicely, the WiFi internet is fast and reliable in my room and elsewhere and the price is right. What I wasn't so crazy about:• the limitations of a the courtyard style architecture where most rooms only window faces onto a common hall• the lack of purified water on each floor, you need to tromp down to the lobby |
